Ah, the SFC collection, second only to the Xeno one!
The SFC shelves overview, A new 2019 picture!
To be precise this is an RPG-only collection with the goal of collecting every released RPG on the console.
While we only got around 40 of them in english, over 200 was released in Japan, 200 RPG:s!!
It is true that we got most of the good ones like Chrono Trigger, FF6, Secret of Mana, Illusion of Time etc but some of my
favorites never made it here, Tales of Phantasia, Star Ocean, Rudra no Hihou, Eien no Filena to name some.
At first I only collected those already mentioned but since I really love all games that have the “classic SNES RPG feeling” I soon realized I had to collect them all! A big bonus is that most of them have gorgeous boxart and deserves to be displayed.
The collection is actually nearing completion after 9 years and I don’t really know what to write about this collection, maybe I will update with close-ups of every game and my experience with them. Until then enjoy these pictures:
Update: I actually took pictures of them all, a bit sad that I don’t have a better camera and I will probably redo it all once I have one…
oh well. For know you can at least view them all in alphabetical order. The OLD overview pictures are at the bottom if you want to see that.
Lastly, feel free to tell me if you think that I am missing a title or if something should be removed!

Only released on “SF memory casette” and one of the most rare games on the console,
I didn’t bother to photograph the generic box. The search is finally over!
—OVERVIEWS—
The surround speaker will have to move at some point…
Yes, FF6 is signed, by Nobou Uematsu of course!
Chrono times three! I finally got a hold of the V-jump version and
wrote about it here: https://xenosagacollector.wordpress.com/2016/02/12/my-most-expensive-game-or-what-happens-when-a-friend-goes-to-japan/
Ser bra ut ๐
Chrono- och Saga 3-spelen i mitten vad รคr det fรถr utgรฅvor? Vet att CT har nรฅn “V-jump tรคvlings”-utgรฅva men รคr inte den lite mer silvrig?
Har du eller har du prรถvat The Adventure of Hourai High School? Verkar riktigt intressant. Ska kolla lite extra efter det i Japan sen.
Vad tycker du om Dark Law fรถrresten?

What an amazing collection ! Have you ever think to scan some of these covers ? Cause it’s impossible to find some of them on internet (i’m searching for it haha ๐ )
Thanks to share all that with us !

Hello and thanks for visiting! Hm, I don’t have any plans to scan them at the moment.
Which ones are you looking for?

I’m looking for Dark Law and Heracles III & IV, this is how i came here ๐ !
All your box are very well conserved! What excellent work! Is there one jrpg you are missing in your collection??

I see, do you plan to use them for something special? Also, have you checked GameFAQs.com, they usually have scans
for most games, although the quality is a bit varied since it’s the users who put them up.
Thanks again, I do my best to find and keep the games in good condition, as you might have seen a few need to be replaced
but most of them are in really nice condition.
I consider the collection complete since I have everything I planned on getting from the beginning but there is a few games
that I might remove and a few I might add. There is a lot of games like Fire Emblem etc that maybe should be in there
(I do own them, just a separate shelf, hehe).

I got a channel retro music on Youtube(Retro OST), i’m searching for high quality audio & video to share the best of retro games for the curious and nostalgic ones & to pay tribute to the composer(s) & illustrator(s), offering the top quality that internet could provide ๐
In fact i can spend hours for one picture. I know i’m probably a little bit stickler. :p and yes of course i’ve check all the website, sometimes in a language that i can’t understand (I’m French btw). Today a good resolution front cover from a rare game is almost precious as the game itself ๐ So you doubly have gold in your hands :P. And when i see how some box art can be terrific, it’s a shame that today when we’re talking in 4K, we can’t find them in a higher resolution of 350px. This a probably a part of the Retro Gaming Market

Hello! I have not forgotten about you and the quest for SFC art, hehe.
I don’t really have a scanner or a good camera but I can do my best to capture them
and get back to you!
I also visited your channel and saw what you need them for, glad to see

Thanks! It has been a while since someone bothered to
comment the SFC collection, haha. I have considered it
complete for years now but I should probably add pictures
of the rest of the strategy/tactic games that didn’t fit in
the main display. If you check my Instagram my love for
the SFC RPGs are as strong as ever and I’m still working
on beating all the fan translated ones!
It was years of searching and strict budgets, buying/
trading/selling that got me that nice wall of SFC games
and it was by far the most fun games to collect!
Let me guess, you also have an impressive SFC
collection, hehe?
