The collecting has been a bit slow lately but I still managed
to put together a picture of the latest items:
Some nice stuff, FINALLY a US Xenogears guide in better condition than my
old water damaged copy. Mario was a gift from my sister, the NES games
are 100% for nostalgia, hehe. The PS2 games to the collection of course,
I didn’t plan on getting the Rosenqueen edition of Mana Khemia 2 since I
already have both the “normal” limited US edition and the japanese box
but I got it a nice price and it is really rare to find here in Sweden.
Oh, and I also got a new item to the Xeno collection, the 2 disc version
of the US anime! Not bad after all.
And as usual:
I finally thought it was time to fix up all my defect PS2 consoles,
I was surprised to find a few more PS1 hiding among them but took
care of those as well, after three days of chaos and cleaning some
of the dustiest machines I have seen 4 out of 4 PS1 is working and
4 out of 7 PS2. As a bonus three PS1 are chipped and play
all regions, wo! After all this I finally mastered how to put
together the somewhat tricky fat PS2 consoles, a real pain if it is
your first time opening one up, I still can’t believe I had the guts
to do it back when I got my first one to put a chip in.

The fat PS2 is such a nostalgic machine. Kinda glad how the PS4 has brought the aesthetics back.
I only saw the Xenosaga anime for the first time earlier this year, and it was way better than I expected. Not really great though ( ͡° ͜つ ͡°)

I must agree, really love the fat PS2! By far the console I have played the most
hours on trough the years and I still have a lot of them to look forward to.
Ah, the anime. I like it more these days than the first time watching but yeah, compare to the game it’s not that good, of course that is true for most things, hehe.
It gets a bit strange that they tell the story of Episode I in three different version including the anime and the DS game.

I think its been done in Manga and maybe even novel form too. Better hurry and do the cave paintings version. (∩◕ᗜ◕)⊃━☆ﾟ.*

Haha! And as soon as I posted the reply I realized I should have mentioned the
manga too, it follows the story of Episode I quite closely as far as I know.

Som vanligt så möts man av massa vackra spel när man klickar in på sidan. Alltid lika trevligt att se. Imponerad över skicket på Xenogears guiden måste jag säga.
Imponerande som vanligt att du lyckas fixa konsolerna. Grymt jobbat.
Testade själv att försöka chippa en GameCube. Det slutade inte bra, som tur är kostade GameCuben inte så mycket. Men kändes ändå skit.
Så nu håller jag mig till enklare saker, jag vet jag kan. Så all respekt till dig och det du gör. =)

Ja, jag gjorde mitt bästa för att skrapa ihop till en bild, hehe.
Skicket på Xenogears guiden är inte PERFEKT men att hitta en finare
nu är svårt och jag glömde att skriva att jag köpte den av en vän här i landet.
Om inga fler konsoler lyckats gömma sig så ska jag äntligen vara klar med rengöringen av alla jag har, det finns dock fler kontroller än jag kan räkna kvar att
ta tag i, hehe. Tråkigt att ditt äventyr med Gamecuben inte slutade lyckligt, jag har inte haft så många olyckor med just konsoler genom åren men en hel del annan elektronik har gått åt och det är väl tack vare det man lärt sig!

Iron sword är ett sådant spel som jag känner igen, ser det ofta men har aldrig sett det spelas. Är det bra?
Varit lite segt med samlandet från min sida den senaste tiden också. Har sålt mer än jag köpt. Allt som allt kommer det bli bort mot 100 annonser och lite över 100 spel + lite annat som åker ut ur samlingen. Mest dubbletter och icke-rpg:n dock.
Gått bra hittills och kunnat unna mig en dyrgrip 🙂 du lär se bild på Instagram senare 🙂

Iron sword var bara för nostalgin som sagt, ett rätt dåligt spel i
övrigt och troligen skulle jag aldrig lyckas klara det utan
att fuska med emulator.
Oj, det låter som en rätt rejäl rensning ändå, det är klart att
inga rollspel ryker men bara säga till om RPGmaker till PS2 är
undantaget, hehe. Det ska verkligen bli spännande att se vilken
dyrgrip det rör sig om sen och det kanske är lika bra att göra
lite extra plats i samlingen för FFXV i November!
