Hello!
Time for the first of these for this year, quite a few new items thanks to
Retrogathering which I visited yesterday. I don’t think I have ever spoken to
as many nice people in one day before, the entire day was a real success!
Quite a strange feeling when you can travel 14 minutes from home and find
SFC games for sale, even if it is just twice a year:
A few Strategy games for my secret strategy corner, hehe.
Really good prices and condition even if I already own a Power Monger.
Oh yes, the Dreamcast version of Pier Solar! I will make a longer post
about it when I finally get to playing it. I haven’t touched the game
since the original Megadrive/ Genesis release but it is my favorite game
on that system and I am really impressed that they manage to complete
that project. I spoke a lot to one of the developers yesterday,
bought the game from him and even ended up on the same train home, hehe,
a real pleasure!
Finally bought Ar Nosurge as well, a shame that it took this long
since I really like Ar Toneclio, at least 1 and 2.
High expectations on the soundtrack!
This is another thing I have been looking for, yet another version of Xenosaga
the Animation, sadly it seems to be really discolored on the back side,
the stickers and other damage is only on the shrink-wrap but I suppose that
I will have to get another copy…
Last but not least we have the Tales of Berseria Collector’s Edition:
The annoying part about collecting is of course when items arrive
badly packaged or not in as good condition as you expect. Most stores,
especially here in Sweden are terrible when it comes to packaging and sadly
the Berseria box got a bit damaged…
The inside of the box was at least really nice, all the standard items like
mini soundtrack, artbook etc but those mini figures will look cute together
with the rest of the Tales of chibis and the badges also look superb!
A nice bonus is how good the game is (so far), hehe.
Aside from these I actually have a few more expensive games on the way,
aside from limited boxes I don’t buy THAT many expensive games but sometimes
you need to add some of those to spice up the collection! Stay tuned, haha!

Damn, hur många versioner finns det av Xenosaga animen utgivna? Trodde det fanns två typ.
Pier Solar måste jag ta och testa någon gång, ser så otroligt mycket ut. Grattis till Dreamcast version. 😀
Trist att butikerna inte kan paketera bättre och att posten inte är mer rädd om paket. Hoppas det är något som butikerna kan ta till sig i framtiden och skicka då lite ömtåligare saker i bättre boxar.

Hehe, ja just nu är jag bara så ivrig på att få vissa upp PS2-spelen
men det är fortfarande ett spel eller två som saknas!
För många är svaret på hur många versioner det finns av animen:
Limiterad japansk: 8 skivor i två boxar
Vanliga japanska: 6 skivor
Japanska på HYR VHS: 6 VHS:er
Amerikansk med 3 separata fodral: 3 skivor
Amerikansk med pappfodral och: 2 skivor
Amerikansk budget variant med: 2 skivor
Amerikansk budget variant av budget varianten (haha): 2 skivor
Den jag precis köpte är den kinesiska/ asiatiska också 2 skivor, sen
finns det även ett par stycken olika i europa som är lite svårare att veta
om dom verkligen är officiella eller inte.
Jag anser att Pier Solar är det bästa spelet på Megadrive så det är helt
klart värt att titta närmare på. Jag kommer också skriva mer om det när
jag väl hunnit spela det till Dreamcast, 2 nya slut och en hel del andra
små nyheter har jag blivit lovad i den versionen, hehe.
Mm, ofta är det butikerna som slarvar i dom fall jag har varit med om
på senare år, att skicka pappersboxar som Berseria utan extra
skydd runt boxen och tro att det ska komma fram helt är inte rimligt,
verkar som att jag kommer få 150kr i tröst men helst vill man ju
ha en fin box.

Många fina köp!
Har själv både MD och DC-utgåvan av Pier Solar men inte spelat någon av dem. Blev ju klart mer sugen nu när du ger det så bra lovord 🙂
Trist med den skadade boxen. Jag har ju turen som har Webhallen, Gamestop mm 10 min bilfärd bort. Så brukar alltid hämta boxar i butik där.

Tackar, ja både Ar Nosurge och Pier Solar var på tiden!
Det ska bli spännande att spela om Pier Solar och skriva
om det sen men det är klart att det påverkar omdömet
en del med hela bakgrundshistorian till spelet och att
dom faktiskt lyckades avsluta ett projekt av den här
storleken till en död konsol.
Eftersom jag ändå besöker uppsala rätt ofta nuförtiden
borde jag försöka med att plocka upp boxar som denna
där kanske men man tycker ändå att dom ska kunna
använda sig av packmaterial…
